Week ending 8/31/2014

Monday August 25

We packed up and left Wooster Ohio and headed for “home” (aren’t we always home?) about 10:00 AM.  On the way we stopped for Diesel at the Pilot just north of Findlay.  186.7 miles to Camp LordWilling RV Park.

Tuesday August 26

I had an appointment with the eye doctor.  We went to the grocery store, I had the car washed, and we had dinner at Happy’s Pizza.

Wednesday August 27

I got a haircut.  I had an appointment to have my hearing aids adjusted.  We did some shopping and put gas in the car while at Sam’s Club.  And we drove out to Camping World and got a water filter, and 2 new folding chairs.

Dinner at Big Blue Ribs with Carroll & Byron Little and RoseMarie & Dick Hartman.  Then we all 6 went back to Camp Lord Willing and sat outside our rig until the mosquitoes started.

Thursday August 28

Carole had an appointment for a mammogram.  Afterward we drove down to Toledo and Carole got cigarettes, we stopped at Meijer and got some groceries and pop, and we topped of the gas tank in the car.

Carroll & Byron Little and RoseMarie & Dick Hartman came over and we sat outside our rig until the mosquitoes started.

Friday August 29

Once we got moving for the day we headed to the laundromat so that we have clean clothes for the holiday weekend and for the EscapeesChapter #6 30^th Anniversary Rally next week.

Saturday August 30

Carole went and got a haircut

Sunday August 31

We went to early service at Christ The King LutheranChurch at the Trenton Road Campus, and stayed for Bible Class.  On the way home we stopped for Brunch at Zorba’s Coney Island in Flat Rock.  Got home and watched NASCAR truck series race and the Tigers – White Sox Game.
