August 2 to August 10

I should back-up for just a moment, back on Monday June 30 we went to Sams Club in Southgate Michigan and we reacquired a Sams Club Membership and got a Sams Club Mastercard.  And with that Carole got hearing aids.
Now junp to Saturday August 2 where the last post left off, (never use a preposition to end a sentence with!!!).  Nothing much happened at Camp Lord Willing on Saturday.  Sunday morning 8/3 we attended church at Christ The King Lutheran campus on Trenton Rd. in Southgate.  On the way home we stopped and got a Sunday newspaper and had brunch at Zorbas Coney Island in Flat Rock.
Monday morning I had a doctor appointment and Carole went for a pedicure.  I bought an external harddrive for my new laptop computer, and we stopped at Steak N Shake for lunch.  In the afternoon I took the car and got an oil change, trans fluid change, Fuel system cleaning and had new windshield wipers installed.
Tuesday was quiet until late afternoon we got a call from RoseMarie Hartman saying they were on their way back from Pennsylvania and would arrive at Camp Lord Willing in about a half an hour, so we decided the four of us would go out to dinner at Applebee's in Monroe.
Wednesday we were back at Sams Club in Southgate and I got hearing aids.  It's been an expensive month and a quarter.
Thursday morning we went to the laundramat and "beat the clothes on a roce", that's Dick Hartman's favorite saying.  Thursday afternoon found us wandering around WalMart for groceries.
Friday after a quiet morning we drove down to Toledo to get Carole a carton of Cigarettes ($20 a carton cheaper that Michigan),  And on the way back we stopped for Lunner at LaFiesta in Erie Michigan.
Saturday 8/9 after a quiet morning and later in the afternoon we drove up to Southgate to attend Christ the King Lutheran Church on Trenton Rd.  After we had dinner at Logan's Roadhouse.
