An interesting week

On Monday morning I took the car to a local Auto shop and got the Air Conditioning fixed.  They replaced to AC compressor.

Tuesday when we got in the car and headed out the AC was blowing hot air.  After running our errands it was back to the shop.  An hour later they came and told us that they had screwed up!!  When they were putting it back together Monday afternoon they had inadvertently cracked an aluminum tube and they would order a new one and fix it at no cost to us.

Wednesday I got a call from the shop informing me the quickest they could get the part would be Friday.  On the way back from a doctor's appointment as we were driving south on Telegraph Rd (US-24) approaching the I-275 overpass we heard a loud bang and I said to Carole that something had hit our car.  Carole said "Yes, the windshield in front of me".

I dropped Carole off at home and went to the Glass shop and made an appointment to have the windshield replaced the next day (Thursday).

Thursday Carole had an appointment to have her hair done and I went to the barber and got a haircut while she was there.

I Picked up Carole and we had lunch at Olga's Kitchen.  Then I took Carole home and headed for the appointment at the glass shop.  I no sooner got settled in the waiting room than the shop foreman called me to come see something. The brand new windshield had a small chip at the bottom of it and they did not want to install a defective windshield, they would return it to their supplier and order another one for tomorrow.

Friday morning Carole had an appointment with our Cardiologist and we left there and went directly to the glass shop to have the windshield replaced.  The new one was good and they took the car right in.  Carole and I went next door to Bob Evans and had lunch.  Back over the the glass shop and wait about 30 minutes for the car to be done.  I then took Carole home and headed to the auto shop to get the AC repair finished.  When I got home Carole suggested we get a pizza for dinner so I called Happy's Pizza and ordered one.
And last, when I got up the morning the refrigerator was once again not working and had partially defrosted.
WONDERFUL WEEK!!

Trip to Coldwater

We left Camp Lord Willing about noon today and headed for Coldwater Michigan for the Escapees Tri-Cahpter Rally (Michigan, Ohio, Indiana).  There were already 5 rigs here when we arrived.  We have 56 rigs preregistered and they should all be here by Thursday.  Pictures of the 6 rigs already here are posted on the Chapter Blog. Should be a fun week and we won't let the off and on rain spoil it.

Where we is

Excuse the grammer of the post title, I just couldn't resist.  We are in our "second home" at Camp Lord Willing near Monroe Michigan.  Since our good next door neighbors, Bob & Nancy Kraft, left before we arrived in June of 2014 the site next door has steadily gone down hill.  There is currently an old 5th wheel on the site and the owner passed away somtime last winter and the "estate" is tied up in probate.  There is a potential buyer for the rig that is anxious to get it and clean it up.  We hope that happens soon!!

Our site last June 2014 Bob & Nancy are gone from next door

Our site when Bob & Nancy were still here next to us.
Notice their nice screen house, Bob kept their site immaculate.

Where the Campground is in Frenchtown Township just at the north end of Monroe Michigan

We are on site 48

Our good friends and fellow Escapees Dick & RoseMarie Hartman are just down on site 44 from us,  They are also not too happy about the sight on site 46 either. I have not taken any pictures of the site this year as yet, maybe later this summer if the site next door improves.  We certainly do miss Bob & Nancy Kraft.

Testing Live Writer

This post is just for testing Windows Live Writer.

The map attached is the route we took last week from Duncan RV Repair in Elkhart Indiana to Camp Lord Willing in Monroe Michigan.  We went a little out of our way in order to fuel up at the Flying J near I-80 and I-280 outside of Toledo before entering Michigan,

The publish link was very slow from Live Writer to Blogger and then it was a little slow loading the post in Blogger to edit the post and add the links and this paragraph.  The one thing I did like about Live Writer was the ability to make the picture any size I wanted, and not just the pre-designated sizes in Blogger. When I checked the Blog after the last update I did not like it that the picture did not display the original size when I clicked in the picture to enlarge it.

Same map below loaded with Blogger instead of Live Writer.
