Ajo Art

We drove the 10 miles back up to the Ajo Post Office this morning to pick up our mail.  The post office is located in the old town square,

In the alley behind the south side of the square is artists alley

The front of the newspaper building one block north of the square is completely covered in art.

Just outside of town heading south is a monument to the bodies that were moved from a cemetary here to a cemetary in town because the cemetary was going to be buried under the copper mine tailings.
