Yesterday's drive to Hart

Yesterday morning we packed up the rig and headed out following Al & Barb Packman in their motorhome.  We were heading for John Gurney Park in Hart Michigan for the Escapees Great Lakes Chapter 6 fall rally.  Shortly after starting out it began to rain and it rained most of the rest of the way, very hard at times.  Not the kind of weather we really like to travel in.  (Never use a preposition to end a sentence with!!)
142 miles and we pulled in to the park and were met by the smiling face of Barb Hargreaves the point person of our parking crew. While starting to unhook the car one of the locking caps on the tow pins jammed and it took me several minutes in the rain to get the car unhitched from the motorhome.  Once unhooked Dale Hargreaves guided us into our parking place for the week.

It finally quit raining by 4:00 social time in the club house.  And after social 20+ us us went to dinner at Kristi's Pour House in downtown Hart.

So this morning here is the Patton's and Packman's motorhomes parked side by side again,
