Back in Michigan

We are back in Monroe at Camp Lord Willing.  We are temporarily on pull thru site #16.  Our regular site #48 has someone in it for the weekend.  We will be able to move into #48 Monday morning.

Tuesday - May 19

224 miles today from Prairie Pines Campground in Rantoul Illinois to Duncan RV Repair in Elkhart Indiana.  Duncan is our favorite RV Repair facility, this time we are just getting some warranty items done.

Monday - May 18

This morning we left Mike's about 11:00am.  We stopped at Flying J in Effingham and filled up with Diesel.  We stopped for the evening at Prarie Pines RV Park in Rantoul Illinois. 209 miles for the day.

Sunday - May 17

Sunday afternoon we went to Nolan's double-header baseball games.

 Nolan got 2 hits, scored a run, and got an RBI in the first game.

Sunday evening we sat outside and watched game 3 of the Cardinals-Tigers series.

 And finally we gave Aaliyah ger birthday present early.

Saturday - May 16

Saturday we attended Granddaughter Collin's LaCrosse game.

after the game we took the kids to Steak N' Shake for lunch. after lunch everyone went their separate ways.

Friday - May 15

Friday evening Mike & Chrissy, Lani, & Nolan took Carole & I to Ball Park Village to watch the Cardinals-Tigers game on the big screen.

 Granddaughter Kelly and her boyfriend joined us

The Tigers won 10-4 much to the displeasure of the Cardinal fans.

Thursday May 14
Today we drove 73.2 miles from Carlyle Lake to our son Mike's house.  We will be here 4 nights parked next to the big garage.

Dam West Corp of Engineers Park

Carlyle Lake Illinois, Dam West Corp of Engineers Park.  We have stayed here several tomes, rarely in the same site.  This time we lucked out and got a full hookup site, $13.00/nite for 2 nights.

Cooler today, chilly breeze.  A good day after the high 80s we had in Georgia and Tennessee.

Monday - April 11

Manchester Tennessee KOA

201 miles today. From Manchester TN KOA to Duck Creek RV Park Paducah KY.  35 minute delay on I-24 just north of Nashville for a bad accident, a 45 minute lunch stop in the only rest area  the whole way (Kentucky Welcome Center), and a 45 minute stop at Flying J for Propane and Diesel.
