Escapees Chapter #32 Rally

The Escapees Chapter #32 Rally was held March 7 to 13 at the Verde Valley Fairgrounds in Cottonwood AZ.  On the way to the rally we stopped at the Sunset Point Rest Area on I-17 near Bumble Bee AZ.

 Monday March 7 we had a "heavy horduvers" dinner followed by entertainment by Jim Kimmins,

Tuesday March 8 most of the group drove up to some Indian Ruins near Sedona AZ.

 Our first stop was at Palatki Ruin

 Only to find out that our group needed to have reservations so we could not visit this ruin site.  Off we go to another ruin 6 miles away.

After visiting the ruin we went back to Sedona and had lunch and did some touring.

Wednesday March 9 many of us went to Cliff Castle Casino.  After Carole and I had lunch at Johnny Rockets Cafe in the Casino we drove over to Montezuma Castle National Monument.

Thursday March 10 we all went to the Blazin M Ranch for dinner and a western show.

Friday March 11 Carole and I drove up the mountain to visit Jerome AZ.

Saturday March 12 after the rally was over about 6 rigs stayed over.  Three couples, Jim & Maralyn Kimmins, Dwayn & Pat Sharp, and Carole and I drove back up to Sedona to the Oak Creek Brewery and Grill for a late lunch.
